new to rapidmoviez and not sure what steps to follow to download

Films and series are slightly different,You will see and have many options for each. From the file size options , to Quality and from which original Source file.

2 main ways to browse options,
1st by the front page going back looking through all uploads, most thorough found lots of cool things I would have never seen, watched or head of.... So don't dismiss this way.

2nd do the first then when you click on any start looking at the series/episode options. Click any and that page will have then box on the right(not shown on the forum) you scroll through the latest uploads from about the past week, grouped together instead of separate. Click ether the series name, or on the file size under is to go straight to the page/file option you want.

You'll also have some more options under "Quick Links" on the upper right hand side of the screen. There is a lot here that can be overwhelming at first, I'm no expert by any means. Speaking of which you want to book mark the this forum page and few others you see a listing of recent comments and that help you find the forum sections the easiest. Along with discussions on various files. No telling what you might learn on some or find other lists of the various files from those.

You can see latest series episodes uploaded on the right hand side if you click on any series/episodes page. If you are are on an episode page, look for to "see all posts on _______(that series title ) " and remember it can take 24-48 hours plus for all the different versions to show up. So chill on those "I need an episode fill" requests until then. If there is pre-airtime web release those advance ones get uploaded when they come out, then all the ones from the episode's broadcasting time which may be days to weeks later. So you may want both. Those extras post episode bits about the series aren't on every release.

Which that side box is scroll-able to see the more popular shows/series in there. Who knows what cool new shows you may find..... You see the series and the big movies in the boxes/poster thumbnails below that and/or at top of the screen. Then it select the quality/size you want on their page, and from that page to the page with links to the files for you click with no tricks. Many of those pages have detailed codec size, bit rates, sound options , subtitles etc. other encoding options information. Then chose which of 3 file hosting options RR, NF or CU you want to get them from. Now say ARGGH! Matey...

As @admin said Rapid Rar aka [RR] is where it is at. You can search for anything and if it is still listed on here, the Rapid Rar option will be the one that gets the file every time. Those are the only ones that get reuploaded without new "scene release" occurring. If you're hunting for something older, this is your best option.

If it new release/upload as under under 30 days from being posted you'll see

CU that is ClicknUpload which is the free option, which has the shortest retention time. It is ether you get when it is freshly uploaded or you've missed the option. Has about 30 days from last activity usually download, so if trying to get show, someone who swung through and hit here near the end of those 30 days because their other option(no place is better) didn't have it or all the episodes, they may bump activity on 1-2 files but the rest will be dead links.

NF Nitro Flare has a little longer retention but has stricter limits for speeds with wait times between downloads. Plus if you want bigger files you need an account, then a premium account if over l.something gigs in size. This is a mixed bag or box of chocolates, if you're doing a the premium account Rapid Rar is you showing this generous site the most love.

RR Rapid Rar is the one with longest retention that you can buy a premium account/ time or Donate to Rapid Movies and they will give you guest pass for few days to Rapid Rar as thank you, look at the Donate options/page. Yes this site does follow though on that. This is the only option for anything older than month, especially after 3 months, 6 months plus. Those will be the only links/files that get reuploaded when the links go bad. If they are bad on something you want lets the admins know and they will fix it those with new upload.

Rapid Rar from my limited understanding supports this site the best. Highest rate for percentage of subscriptions get sent to the referring source which keeps the server bills paid. Not a lot free downloads options. If going Premium here , this is where it is going be best for you for on this site. When there is issue it is dealt with quickly,and reuplaod requests are filled on here and on this file hoster service only. Rapid Rar moves 100's fo gigs around down daily between downloading all the sources and reuploading all the various size options as RMTeam releases. So RESPECT! If for some reason the links are not working, as bots check and reupload and then replace them.

Nitro Fare is on other DDL sites, but support retention is in the middle (percentage of you buying a premium account pays less to the site, again my understanding, not sure if true or not, just what has been posted before...). NF is more heavy handed to get you buy a premium account from them for low bandwidth, limited file size for free users (up and down) and makes you wait between files for with longer waits the more you down load. You can register account for a little bit better experience but if it i s not paid/premium don't expect much better terms of usage.

Clicknupload supports them the least and has the lower file size limits so if you're looking for large files, this options does not work. It one of better free options for speed across all the DDL sites out therefor speed, no waits between files. Has occasional issues but corrects itself within a day or so.

PS "in before" @Oscar2 could helpfully answer it. Although they'll probably add corrections with better information.

I suggest instead of the ancient and no-longer-in use XviD under QUICK LINKS, you add AV1 category next to x264 and x265.

(1) Decide what format you want (1080/720/480)

(2) Click on the show you want

(3) A list of options will show. Then click on whatever download option you want... I suggest ClickUpload as it's free [be warned... the links expire quickly]

(4) Then follow their steps to download (it's easy)

It has now been 2 weeks since you super-belatedly added the last 4 episodes of S1 of Ayakashi Triangle to the premium-links-only S1 pack...but still no links for free users for E9-12 even though they aired almost 4 months ago. I used to visit this site at least once a day until the habit of posting some episodes (even when all episodes dropped at the same time !! ??) of shows but never circling back to complete seasons became more and more common.

I've been getting a LOT of 'mkv' files in the 250 to 1.9MB that just won;t play on my Series-6 Samsung TV. They seem to work just fine on my Laptop but not the TV. So I suppose this is an outdated codec on the Samsung? Or has something else changed? I can usually download a replacement in 'MP4' or 'AVI' that works just fine, but the vast majority of files are coming out in 'mkv'...

I figured out the 'MKV' failure to play problem I've run into recently; it's the x264 vice x265 encoding. The x264 encoded product stutters-stops-runs-stutters-runs repeatedly. There will be no firmware updates from Samsung to correct this deficiency as the Model is too old. The x265 MKV's play without a problem (so far) or it's an AVI or MP4 or nothing. So, problem solved...
