We only encode 720p from 720p source. Less 720p encoding means less 720p source available.

oh... i noticed 480p are encoded from 1080p source, so i thought the same was possible for 720p. bummer. wonder why it came to this scarcity of 720p sources.

Encoding 720p from a 1080p source will result in better image quality. So as I've requested several times in the past, change your script and encode 720p HEVC RMTeam files from 1080p sources please.

Yeah, but we need faster encoding servers (which are more expensive), and that's not an option for us right now.

That's fair - and I think you for explaining the situation - personally, for TV shows, your 720p encodes with subtitles are my absolute favourite - as others have said its an idea balance between quality and file size... that said, I'll be perfectly happy with the 1080's under the circumstances, and am tremendously grateful for all your efforts regardless - you guys are a godsend.

That said - I wonder if you might share some of your encoding expertise? What tools would you recommend for those of us that might be interested in tinkering with it?

Lastly, on a slightly different topic - is there some way to change your encode algorithm on anime releases so that it'll grab the English subs instead of Arabic? I'm learning Japanese, but I'm not quite there yet.

Thanks again for all you do - you guys totally make a RR Premium account worth it. Best investment of the year.

@drorsabi1 Are you positive that it has aired? Some sites are giving the 10th of November as a premiere date but others are giving the 14th.
