Ad blockers, such as uBlock Origin can block scripts that captchas need to work. If you use one, maybe try turning it off for this site? I've never encountered anything bad here.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've turned off all ad blockers but that doesn't help. According to others, the problem happens when using search, which looks to be the case with me. Unfortunately I use search fairly extensively. I don't understand the need for captchas in the first place, and now the site, which I've enjoyed using for years, is effectively useless.

I have tried it with add blocker on and off and I still have the problem when I use the search. I has to be something else. I still will use the search even with the Captcha problem, maybe they will fix it.

I did some troubleshooting and found the issue is with the site's coding. The search box creates a URL that starts with http:// Since it is not secure (https://) that triggers a security check, thus the captcha. And obviously the site security and/or hCaptcha is broken. (I've had to solve multiple captchas, too.)

Here is an easy workaround. When the captcha appears, edit the link in your address bar. Simply add the 's' to make it start with https:// Voila! No security check.

I've tried this only a few times, so please post here if there are problems with the workaround.

Thanks for investigating this. Unfortunately, the URL in my search is already using https, and still prompts unlimited captchas. For example:

Any chance you're using the Brave browser? I did my tests in Chrome. I just tried in Brave and had the exact problem you're experiencing. I had to turn off shields for the site, in order for the search to work.

Before downloading from Clicknupload, check the file size CU shows versus what RMZ says it should be. If it's not the same get the file from scene-rls, instead. They copy RMZ's re-encodes.

Yeah, this site is a mess. At least the workaround is less of a pain than multiple captchas. You could try sending an email to the address in the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom right of the page. Also, see the note about scene-rls, above. They have 720p RARBG files, too.
