The Cyphanix release used to encode this to HEVC is 2.37 GB
rounded down to 2 GB on the info sheet above,
This HEVC encode is 1.89 GB rounded up to 1.9 GB on the info sheet above.
so not a mere 100 MB difference. not a complete encode fail.

the.walking.dead.s07e03.720p.web.dl.hevc.x265.rmteam.mkv was only 337MB

download the size and quality you want but don't expect the site to encode crap quality just to please you.

We don't want or need crap quality.

LOL the solution seems so simple to me. why come here to complain when you can get what you need elsewhere? That Makes no sense.

Admin here keeps the quality high even if the file size is a little bigger.

If you can find higher quality encodes that are smaller size at another site then you should download from that site.

This site won't care or even know about it if you did.

You are not a member of this site, non of use are. you do not pay semi-annual dues to use this site, non of use do.

You did not sign a non-compete agreement with this site.

So if you want to download from another site you won't get into trouble or be banned from this site.

The question is WHY COME HERE TO COMPLAIN?

I use this site and 3 other DDL sites every day. I also use 4 torrent sites for what this site doesn't have. No one cares if I do. No one cares if you do.

But how is it you feel that you can dictate how things are done at this site?

You pay nothing to use the site. In the larger picture you're no one really. nothing. So shut up. Say thank you for the uploads or say nothing at all.

I'm not trying to chase anyone away from this site LOL

I would like the crazy and stupid comments about quality and size and what can be found at other sites and comments about how much this site sucks blah blah blah be kept to a minimum.

For example, Mulally asked if uploads were done automatically or if done by a human. the answer is it's done automatically. that's all he needed to know.

Everything else about the cloud and how fast you can encode at home and the CRF value of a certain file and 4K encodes blah blah blah is information he didn't even ask about. LOL

I'd like to help you with syntax, spelling and common sense though if I could. You need it.

It is a losing battle to convince "some" users that you can't compress a 2.37GB file that is 1080P H.264 and Dolby 5.1 audio to a x265 hevc file size of 384MB without any quality loss.

Let's be honest. The 5.1 @384Kbps, CBR, 6CH, 48KHz by itself is going to be huge so unless you down grade the audio to 128kbps 2.0 stero the video is going to be so pixelated you wouldn't be able to watch it. You'd also have to compress the video to a lower quality.

But that's not what happened with this encode so why argue that point? It makes no sense.

You say you don't care what people ask? But yet you want to answer their questions anyway?

You just want to say whatever you want to say? why not start your own thread and let others reply to it?

Replying to questions asked with whatever come to you warped brain is not helpful. So why do it?

Answer the question asked with a sensible, logical answer that will help the person asking the question.

That's the only way to be helpful.
