Never get multi-language films from this site. RMTeams bots don't re-encode with all the audio and subtitle tracks, only the first one of each. Often the first tracks are NOT English.

@Admin, once again I ask will you PLEASE change your bots to include ALL audio and subtitle tracks? Thanks.

@meridian — Thanks. I have wondered why the "MULTi" releases I've found here are dubbed into only one language (French), when the prefix "multi-" certainly implies more than one.

The "MULTi" releases allow a wider audience to enjoy English-language productions, and I applaud RMZ for helping people access them; that said, however, not including all the audio tracks available with these releases does seem to, at least partially, defeat the purpose.

Byala, you're right. I missed that this is not an RMTeam re-encode. I must have been quite tired when I posted, lol. For this original rip, either Brink screwed up or Bill7940 is somehow mistaken. I'm curious enough to download this and check. It will take me a couple of days, so please be patient.

As for RMTeam re-encodes of multi-language rips, I downloaded a few originals to compare, and it turned out that even though English audio was included, a different language was always the first audio track. The same problem exists with multiple subtitle tracks.

Since each audio and sub track is usually defined as to which language it is, a script/bot could be written to determine the correct ones to re-encode. Those track numbers could then be passed to the bots that do the re-encode. Thus my request to the admins.

Another option would be for the admins to tweak their bots to re-encode all tracks, giving people a true multi-language re-encode. I don't doubt that request has been made as well.

I often watch on a big screen, too, though I use a mini-PC with HDMI output. As for MKVToolNix, don't you love it? Like you, I'll use it to remove extra audio and subtitle tracks. Why take up more storage space for things we won't use, right?

So, results are in - Bill7940 doesn't know about multiple audio tracks. MKVInfo shows this has both French and English audio and subtitle tracks. English is the default for each. I don't know what player Bill is using, but it's messed up if it plays the French track by default.

Conclusion: While RMTeam sucks at re-encoding files with multiple audio and sub tracks, they don't mess with original files.
